Default new GIAC Flash Program Same as Chip install?

Hey I am new to this site. I recently purchased a 2002 A4 and have been a bit disapointed with the engines output. I began researching chips for my car but was a bit wary because i did not want to void the existing 50xxx mile warenty.

To make a long story short i contacted a shop in maryland called induktion motorsports and they informed me of a new hardware they were recieving From GIAC. This Hardware is capable of flashing the stock ecu up to the GIAC specs. 40hp and 80torque

I know other companies offer this option but GIAC has not up untill this point...

Does anyone know anything more about this

I have apointment for later next week to have it done

Default GIAC has been flashing for a few months now ...

And VERY soon their new home programmer will be released allowing customers to swap files at thier descression ! GIAC has the longest history of chipping in the VAG group of cars and if you have local support they sound like your best bet !

Default Had this done two days ago...

The whole process takes about 30 minutes. The difference in the car is amazing, and there will be switching hardware so you can switch back to stock on your own soon.

Iam thinking of going apr until I had the trial run but now, I will probably go with giac.

Default Damn...That is the ****. This is what I have been waiting for! -m-

I assume this will allow you to revert back to 'pure stock' and not a tuners version of stock.
