New optima, makes charge when running 13+ volts, once off,battery drained after 24hr..?? what to do?

I assume you replaced the battery because it wasn't holding charge. If the new one has the same problem, time to start looking elsewhere for the power drain.

Repaced a 6 month old battery with optima, same problem. If I dont start it within 24 hours it goes completly dead. Once running alternator is putting out charge. I put a multi meter on it and no loss in 3 hours. After around a day its 100% drained. I tested the running system for A/C in the system and there was none (for a bad alterator diode?). I hve no idea what to do now.

use it, its a fairly smart n sophisticated car that will most often know when something is wrong. Just a matter of scanning for codes and figuring out what in gods name they mean.
