Default NEW PROBLEM! The "Triangle with Exclamation symbol in it" came on while driving back from...

... an otherwise fun ski-trip in VT. I wasn't driving in any bad weather either.. so I dunno why that came on... and just stayed on. I have a 2002 1.8t-Tip. Any ideas on what this problem could be..??

Default if that light is on... that means ESP is 'not' engaged.

Default So you either have an issue with

your ABS module, your ASR (traction control) or your EDL (electronic differential lock).

Default What does measuring the amount of air have to do with your ESP?

the ONLY correlation I could see is because ESP can cut throttle if the car completely loses traction. Cutting throttle is done by the ECU controlling the DBW...but that seems like somewhat of a long shot. Essplain me please.
