After 7 years of suffering in my Ford Contour, (1st car out of college). I finally admitted image defeat and bought a 2002 Canvas Beige Metallic A4 1.8Q 5S with sport package on Wednesday. Went under the operating table Thursday for what i thought was a minor wrist operation with few side effects. Now i'm stuck with my arm in a sling for a week and unable to drive my new audi. So she'll be sitting in the garage for a few days unless i let the girl friend take her out. Been a regular reader of this forum and took into consideration some of the forum member feedback when making my descision. Checked both the Acura TL-S, and recently the G-35. Both cars have awsome performance, decent looks, but interiors that leave much to be desired, as far as material feel and quality goes. (The G35 interior is hideous, reflecting the same material quality problems that mark the Maxima and new Altima). Nissan is definately cutting corners.
Since the interior is what i see and handle every day driving to and from work, i put some serious emphasis on that issue when making my descision. (Audi interiors are far superior to other makes).
The fact that A4 exterior looks great, is just another plus.
Have not seen many photos of the Canvas Beige metallic color so I will post a photo shortly.

...it seems the only exterior that really works well with the beige interior. Sweet combination.
I must have had my thumb someplace else but that's another thread.
