Are you serious?

They transmit electric energy in the form of a spark. Sent from your distributor, to your coilpacks, which act as sort of an amplifier to the juice that will be relayed through your plug. Then kaboom happens...you hope. If you were joking, then I apologize for even attempting to answer.
