so the brown truck delivered the passenger seat on Monday... first thing i heard from the driver... "<i>i've got a big box for you and there's some metal stuff sticking out of it</i>"... uh... oh... what now... well the rails managed to get through the box...

fortunately, it was not a big deal, at least that box didn't get dropped like the other one, so the frame was good and straight...

but i'm still unhappy w/ the seller... now someone tells me... how can you possibly say these seats are in great condition... look at the seating area... it's covered w/ dust &amp; dirty...

a couple of deep marks in the leather, which unfortunately will probably never ever come out...

now the good news is that i dropped the seat off to a detailling shop (<a href="http://www.californiadetailing.com/">California Detailing</a> in SF) to have it professionally cleaned and they did an amazing job w/ it... i don't have any pics yet, but it came out totally clean!

as for the backrests of the back seats are okay...

although there's also some sort of scratch/mark on the left/passenger side... which i'm pretty sure is gonna catch my eye every time i'm gonna be looking back and i can already tell that's gonna bug the crap out of me...

a few things i have to replace as well... like all but one of the guides for the headrests of the front seats...

both doors of the drawers as they look like crap...

all little things, but again, after you're being told that these are in top condition, it kind of pisses me off... oh well... the joy of modding i guess...

the back seat bench as well as the door cards are in the mail and expected to be here w/i a week hopefully...

the dirt on the seats is not in any way from shipping. glad that you were able to get them cleaned up!

I'd be upset about the deep marks on the leather especially if I was under the impression they were in perfect condition, but the seats look so great I think I'd look past that!

i no longer have the stock seats in the Avant...

if i still had the stock seats, i wouldn't care that much about the marks, it would still **** me off a little, but not as much as now, since the S-line seats i currently have are in tip-top condition...

sometimes i just wonder whether or not it really makes sense to replace a set of perfect seats w/ some not so perfect seats... since both sets are really comfy... sure there might be a slight edge to the Recaro, but the S-line are not bad themselves...

i guess it's too late now anyway... ;o)
