noob question: What does the turbo spool sound like? People say a bad turbo sounds like a dentist

Default noob question: What does the turbo spool sound like? People say a bad turbo sounds like a dentist
drill, and I've always heard that, it's not loud, only when I accelerate harder. I've driven the car 30K over the past 2 years, it now has 67K. Am I being paranoid? Power seems fine, I'm totally stock.

Default you're not going to blow a stock turbo
I'm putting down twice the boost that you are and I'm not scared (well maybe a tad). And as was said, if it's going you'll know it.

Default Remove TIP(Turbo Inlet Pipe), check turbine shaft play....
if its noticable, or excessive, by hand, check for scrape marks on compressor inlet housing and compressor blabes....

Your probably hearing the very little turbo spool sound that the K03 has.

There is some spool up wine, and is normal.
