Default Not a good way to start the morning...first major repair of car

The steering rack has to be replaced The leak picture shown earlier was indeed the boot to the rack and pinion. It seems it just started as no loss of fluid from the resovoir yet but is being replaced before it gets worse.

61k miles and it's first major repair.

Default About $1800 for parts, labor and alignment but they're working on seeing if they can

reduce the price a little where they can. I should know by end of day today.
