Well, squint a little, and it's both...
Man, you guys are pretty tough, perhaps worse than the good ole days when I was very active on this forum.
Why are you so hung up on such a small aspect of the installation, when in fact it's the performance is what really counts? This is no show queen, it's meant to be driven. Besides, a new cover would make it perfect, so it's not a big deal...It's probably only temporary anyway.
'It is what it is' with the stock bumper, and that's that. To be honest, and all things considered, it's pretty decent without the cost of a new bumper cover and paint.
