ODAB6 Painted Lowers Research...
Some issues trying to resolve regarding paint matching. See prior thread...
Spoke to Autometrics today, specifically Mike VanLoo at the Pontiac branch and says he can do it. The price verbally quoted is $480. Said that if we can get at least 6 committed, he can set up some kind of "assembly line" to get the cost down. He's thinkin' maybe $50-$100 less. Not sure yet till he sees the condition of the other cars.
I'm still a little tenative because of the color match issue and would really like to see the cost go south of 4, but still holding off on my final decision till I get more facts.
For now, I have Greg, Lou, Clean & Myself.
What you guys think?

Thanks for doing the legwork Eddie.
Actually $480 is less than I thought Autometric would quote but I, too, was hoping that it would be somewhere under $400.
There have got to be other people on here that may be interested. I'll email Sam tonight (he's not on AW but he's a B6 guy who comes out to the meets) to see if he's interested.
We've got a bit of time before spring....
