It's the CD itself.

Default It's just a regular CD changer!

It will only play audio CDs (Red Book). If you are simply creating a CD-R/CD-RW (Orange Book) in CD-ROM format (Orange Book) with MP3 files on it; it won't play. Even some MP3 players (car or DVD)require the disk to be ISO9660 format (which limits the character set), and may support up to 30 character names.

It's possible to create a Red-Book Audio CD using MP3s, but you have to make sure the recording program does the correct format, and that it closes it.

Some CD players also may not like CD Extra (Blue Book) formatted disks, and others may not be able to recognize CD-R/RWs. There are so may different colors and types of CD-R/RWs that you gotta buy something that will work.

I have Jensen MP3510 in my Camry which plays both CDs and CD-R/RW with MP3s on them.

Another answer would be PhatBox!
