For those who have suffered bent rims, is it usually with aftermarket wheels? Are the OEM rims more solid? I want the OEM 17's, but I worry about the potholes in my area.

my stock sports are pretty strong though, I was going around 70-80mph when I ran over a large metal object.. punctured both my right side tires... the front wheel bent slightly and the rear one had a small ding in it... fixed the front one and kept the rear the way it is.. got new tires and have no problems so far... if they can take a hit at 70-80mph, I think you can consider these pretty tough...
