Default OEM 17x7.5 + 10mm spacer ~= UltraSport 18x8 offset?

Any props for H&R versus MTM?

Both seem to be nice. The MTM ones do come with the proper wheel bolts.

Default Well, price is one difference....

which is why I went the H&R route. Including longer wheel bolts, it's about $100 less than MTM. Best bet is to order thru PureMS--Mike Kim is a big help.

Also, since search is working again, I've previously posted the correct bolts for 10mm and 15mm spacers.

I thought Ultrasport wheels are ET43; if true they're only 2mm further out than sport wheels

Default Yes, but they are 8" versus 7.5", so .25" ~= 6mm

So by my math 6mm + 2mm = 8mm more offset than the stock 17x.5 rims.

I probably should not call it offset, more like "effective" offset

Default Ah, so you meant offset as in where the outside of the wheel is. Fair enough :)

I was just thinking about the "true" offset as in where the contact with the hub is.

Default They will stick 2mm further out and you will have 14mm more clearance behind the wheel.

UltraSport : 18x8", ET43

OEM : 17x7.5", ET45 + 10mm spacers = ET35

Plug in the numbers and voila...<a href="http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html">Offset Calc</a>
