on/off throttle engine thumping / 'bouncing' with MT6 3.0Q?

Autos will 'cruise' when you let off the gas, manuals won't - that's why you're not used to it (m)
... that's why I hate hate hate driving autos.. I hate how even when I let off the gas, the car still automatically applies a bit of gas, which forces me to use the brake to slow down in situations where I would have just let it glide in neutral on a stick.
Just try easing off the gas instead of just letting go completely. With time, you can drive as smooth as silk (for calm city driving).

like others said, that's how a stick operates, but keep in mind, it's usually at low speeds -m-
for example, in 1st, if you're going like 5mph, it's gonna shake cuz its about to stall if you are not applying ANY gas. And in first, that shake is a lot more violent than if you're in 3rd or 4th.
If you're shaking when its going like 30mph, that's not a good thing, it should just be slowing down.
If you want to avoid the shaking, and say you're in bumper to bumper traffic but don't want to keep stickign the clutch in a going in neutral, you'll have to get a handle of how to work the throttle so that it applies just a smidgen of gas in order to keep it from going into the stall choke.
