Oil pressure light turns on after short drive
Hi, I have a 2002 A4 with the 3.0 that has oil pressure light that will turn on after about a half hour (or just when I slow down to about 10 mph I cant tell which). I have dropped the oil pan and made sure the screen is clean and I also cleaned a lot of built up gunk from the pan. Has anybody else had a problem similar to this and fixed it?
If you have any questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability.

The pan should not have any gunk in it, unless the engine was neglected for a long time, or often not driven long enough to reach operating temperature. I just removed the valve covers on my '05 3.0 with 180,000 miles, and everything under there is absolutely clean (but oily of course), with synthetic oil changes every 10K miles.
The oil light could come on due to a defective pressure switch - your best case, but perhaps from worn main/rod bearings, or worn oil pump. You could try heavier oil, such as 20W-50, a new German oil filter (MANN, Mahle) and see if that helps.
