and wheel weight and size.
I just put on the factory steel wheels for winter and my car feels faster. I've been driving on my rs4 rep and they are heavy. Basically thinking of getting another set of rims next yr. 19's or wide 18's. So which factors should I focus more on the size ( difference of 18's and 19's ) or weight of wheels. Keeping in mind faster the car the better.

When it comes to wheels, accelerating is all about overcoming your wheels' rotational inertia.
The more weight you put farther away from the hub, the harder time your engine is going to have getting the wheels going. So when you choose another set of wheels, I would go for the lightest wheel in the smallest diameter that looks okay to you (looks *do* matter, after all).
18" and 19" wheels usually make cars slower. They're more about aesthetics than handling. Most of the best-handling cars I've driven (including my E30 M3) came on 14" or 15" wheels.

let say 18's with 18x8 frt and 18x9 rear ( I have frontrack ) that weight in around mid 20 lb. or set 19 x 8 in mid 20's which would it be? I know that width also can make difference. Since I plan on getting wheel next summer and these will be second set, I plan on taking everything into consideration.
I won't lie looks are alway first.

I fitted a set of 17 inch Superlegerras (OZ Racing) and coming from standard 16 inch to 17 x 8 and 235/45 Goodyear GS3 the ride comfort is better even with the wider tires. Would be carefull about 18 inch wheels since the ride would go very hard and especially since then the weight (of wheel and tire) goes up. Fit low weight like Superleggera for best ride.
