Default OK, headlight washer question

Situation:
-headlight washers not working ever
-fuse for washerpumps not blown
-tested washers with and without lights on, fuse doesn't blow but still no headlight washers.

This thread mentions that if it's the washer pump, it will usually blow the fuse when you try it. My fuse is still intact and has never blown, even though headlight washers have been dead for about a year.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which part needs replacing? I'm guessing it's still the pump, but don't want to randomly replace it to find out it's a sticking jet or something like that.

I remember reading that at some point the fuse layout in these cars changed. I have an 04.5. The headlight and windshield washer pump fuses are still one and the same on this model, right?

I have exactly the same thing (they haven't worked once since I got the car). I think it's the pump.

Default my dealer replaced the pump under warranty and they still don't work.

i don't really care now though, since i seem to go through enough fluid over the winter as it is.

Default Yeah me too

I don't know why I care about fixing them, just kind of bugs me a bit.

I disabled them on my last car since they wasted so much juice, but the logic used to determine when to spray with the B6 is a little better; I only go through about 4 litres a month when using them instead of the 8-12 I would use in the B5.

consider a blessing to not get fluid all over your freshly cleaned car.

That's the reason why I still haven't fixed it.

Default Mine have never worked on the B6 and never used them on my B5 either....

Who uses headlight washers anyway? They could have skipped on that and gave us better sub woofers and a reliable antenna booster!
