OK, some things I'm a noob at.... like wheels, bought a set with lots of weights on them??
Didn't realize until a few months after I'd bought them when I was cleaning them up. Does that mean that they're bent to sh*t????
And what about wheel & tyre shops around OC (Irvine in particular). Someone mentioned a place in HB a few weeks back??

Agreed, and depending where the tire is mounted will determine how many weights are applied.
I went through this last year with four brand new RS4 rims. One of them had a pile of weights, so I took it back to the shop and they shifted the tire.

But it could also indicate a bad wheel. Try having a shop rotate the tire on the wheel itself...
They can also tell you if the wheel is bent/warped.
