OK...this is weird, but I get these weird vertical lines on my doors when cold (more)...

...Here's the scenario. I noticed this a month or so ago when it was about 0 degrees here in Denver all day. Now, my car is black, so EVERYTHING shows up, so it's definitely more visible cuz it's black.
When it's cold, if you look down the length of the car from behind or in front (like looking for small dings), I can see what I can only describe as vertical lines on the doors. These lines are perfectly straight, and spaced about 8 inches or so apart. If they weren't on every door, I would think they were creases from people hitting my doors, but they're not. When it's warm (50-60 degrees or so)...they're not there. Has anyone noticed this or may think what is causing it? I've searched and found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
