I don't think I like CC's.... not sure though.
I always think it just leaves the housing looking like something is missing. I also don't like how the amber will be back when the lights are on at night (and white turn signals are pretty rice so that isn't an option)

If those are the only options, then C...otherwise hold out for a cheap set of ecodes
I don't like the idea of "breaking off" the amber reflector. I wanted to clean up the look of the front and for the longest time I thought I was in the same boat as MB (having an early '02 build w/ incompatible headlamp components). I bought some used oem ecodes, thinking that some time down the road I'll pick up the proper bulbs and ballasts but it turns out that my bulbs and ballasts virtually swapped right over.
