situation. I understand, it happens to ALL of us. Just you NEVER know when someone will snap, don't need to see anyone here get hurt or killed just because some impatient ******* wants to get to where he has to go firts, turning or not!

Agree entirely with you Gary...
If he's really in that big of a rush, why waste your gas to speed up and block him. Just let him go. He may be fighting for that one space ahead of you, but so are you for refusing to give it up.
Not trying to bash on you, but sometimes it's just better to really think things through and try not to base it on 'right of way' situations.

hehe, all in good fun...i dont think anyone is overreacting here. crap like this happens all the time...sometimes we let them, and other times we dont. that dont make us an *** forever, just sometimes =)
btw, i think needforsleep did say he was in front when the two lanes merged...which kinda eliminates the issue of who was going faster.

Sped up when he tried to speed up? Blocked him from passing you multiple times?
You're a dick. Why not let him by? Seems like you went through a lot of effort just to keep him behind you, even though he clearly wanted to drive faster than the 55mph speed you had chosen.
I fail to see how it benefits you to have him behind you getting angry. It's dangerous and arrogant. You'll get yours some day.

You don't understand. He tried to pass me on the right on a single lane road.
The right lanes open up here in the country for when someone is trying to turn left into a subdivision. I didn't block him at all.

Once again, I see my story wasn't clear of enough. He tried to pass me multiple times on a SINGLE
LANE ROAD, with the exception of the first time where he was trying to pass me on the right almost 20yds before the road merged to one lane and traffic was less then 1/4 mile ahead of us (within visual sight). He was in the right lane and his laned merged.
I guess I need to draw a picture or something.
Trust me, you guys would have done the same thing.
