Default OMG !!! Bailey DV install...........

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1437.jpg"></center><p>Well, I'm gonna ramble cause it's my post.
Take the pan belly off, easy, big head screwdriver. When you put it back on, slip it into position, and put the center rearmost screw in FIRST. This will hold it in place for your putting in the rest.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1438.jpg">

There is plenty of room for the Bailey. The problem is the space is TIGHT. Like a, well, you know. I prolly would recommend loosening the wide OD hose right there, to give more working room. I did not do this.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1441.jpg">
The dealer put my 710n in with hose clamps, so the 2 fatter hoses were a breeze to loosen and pull off of the 710. But, somehow, they left the devil clamp on the skinny hose. I think they just pulled it off, and pushed it back on to the 710. But I could not manage to do that.
So..........here comes the dremel. with the other 2 hoses off, I was able to really move the 710 around. That skinny hose is a mile long. I just cut above the clamp, maybe a 1/2" total lost hose.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1445.jpg">

so here it is............who wants it!
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1448.jpg">
Rhino Ramps 1200 (Autozone)no scraping. But low.
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1450.jpg">
devil clamp
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1451.jpg">

so......I just slip the fatties back on the Bailey, and tighten the hose clamps that were on there. Then, I used the clamp that PMS sent, to secure the skinny.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1454.jpg">

It is a bear getting a position to tighten those screws!
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1456.jpg">
So Ouila!...........Performance DV.
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35713/img_1457.jpg">
OK. I put that SOB pan back on. Down the ramps I go, and out for a spin. HS! I am not kidding. I thought I had just been chipped! spools up faster, DEFINITELY holds the boost longer. I cannot believe it, the car runs completely different. And I'd biatch if I didn't get my $ worth. At least on the 1st ride, I got it and more.
Do it!
Your man in Amsterdam.................DD.

Default Glad install went well... Sorry I spoiled your surprise

reminding you that your dealer prolly put on new hose clamps =P I gotta admit I really give all you tech article guys credit as I am always in such a rush to get my projects finished and cleaned up that I never want to take pictures and document my install. God bless ya for that.

Default OT...

I just reserved two suites at the Staybridge hotel in Princeton NJ for WaterFest. I know before I told you I was staying at the Hyatt but I realized I might as well spend the extra 7$ to stay at Stabridge with kitchen and extra bedroom and bath. If you are interested in swapping reservations to this hotel let me know and Ill give you the contact info. There are a bunch of people from the tri-state forum staying there so it should be a good crowd. Anyways just wanted to inform you i swapped over.

Default Yea

That was my biggest issue. Fact that it was further away does kinda bug me and fact that since Hyatt was listed on the WF site I know ital be filled with all people from the event but Id much rather have room to spread out and a kitchen to store some food.
