Well i called AOA again to no avail. They are still telling me that at best it would be an aftermarket application of paint (not what i would want).
So until i hear from the client relations supervisor tomorrow can anyone give a little bit more detail as to going about getting the car i want in the color of my choosing?

As of a few months ago, you can specify any colour in the current Audi palatte from anywhere in the
world. You will need to look at the official Audi sites around the world as well as any other pics people may have, to determine if you really want that colour. You will need to supply the colour code to the dealer so they can order that colour - they do not have a colour guide for world-wide production. Exteriors only - no interiors. It is best to see the colour in person, so I would suggest a colour that normally is sold on another model here - say TT Nimbus.
It will cost $1700. It will take at least 4months to get the car, as it is built from scratch. You will probobly be the only person with such a combination in all of North America. Find a dealer who will work with you on this.
