Outside temperature sensor

Does anyone know if the outside temperature sensor can be calibrated or adjusted in any way?
I have been noticing for the past week that the temp. reading is quite a bit higher than what it actualy is.

I vaguely remember seeing something in the manual. Have you checked that?
