Default Is P/S fluid no good after the bottle is opened?

I bought a bottle of Pentosin p/s fluid to top off since I noticed it was low. I didn't feel like getting involved with the flush process at the time, but is it ok to do so later on even if the bottle has already been cracked?

Heard that since you run the risk of getting moisture in, it's technically no good after being opened...

Default it's fine, however, ps fluid should never need topping off

so you have a leak somewhere you need to fix

Default I think its a bit off topic but..

why are out cars so notorius for PS leaks?.. I have had two b6s 02 and 05 and they both leaked.. 350 to fix. I went thru 3 bottles of VW/Audi mineral PS fluid before i fixed it.. NEVER had drips or puddles.

Default uh oh...easy to diagnose or should I take it somewhere? when I read it it was just below the min

line. I probably added 10-50mL (hard to tell, wasn't really paying that much attention but it wasn't much) and it came back up right below the max line.

Default i use M1 atf since audi 5000 guys use it with good results and reduce rack leaks

most likely place to leak is the rack

Default What's the diff between M1 ATF and CHF-11

Aren't these two fundamentally different chemical compositions? Automatic transmission fluid and mineral oil.
