Default P0411 hose fix

Some photos of the hose I needed to replace to repair my P0411 Check Engine light. The P0411 code is a secondary air code, indicating low or no flow. In the first photo, at about 12 O'clock, you can see a silver round cap (with a blue hose coming from it) thing under a wire harness and a hose from the manifold breather hose (repaired under warranty). That's the secondary air combi valve, IIRC. On your car, if it's still OEM, in place of my blue hose is a small cloth covered vacuum hose. Right at the point of the OEM clamp on the valve, my hose was torn.

That hose snakes it way under and around a few things to the right of the engine, where, under the intake runner, there is a T-fitting where the other end of this hose is fitted. I repaired the OEM hose with a blue silicone hose that is very easy to see in these pictures. I cleared the code with a VAG-COM (freeware version) and after about two weeks, it has not returned.

Default I bought the cable on E-bay, from the CHina ECU Centre or something like that.

The China ECU website has istructions for downloading the drivers and the freeware version of software from the Rosstech website. It's basically an older version of software, with some code details turned off (I just search AW for codes anyhow and it gives me answers).

I don't have the website link here at work, it's at home.
