Default iPod power adapter

~$25US. Optional, I'd recommend it.

1/8" to RCA cable - $0.50 to $50 depending on your cable preference. I think he had a 1/8" 90° elbow in there as well, another $5.

My setup uses the Blitzsafe and the Belkin car adapter/lineout adapter, so I just have the dock connector attaching to the iPod, and the 1/8" to RCA connects to the Belkin in behind the dash. Haven't done the ashtray mod yet, still using the cupholder for now, but it looks pretty clean, only one cable.

Default like nanotech said.

I have a Griffin Power Pod, that I purchased to tap in to the 12V line.

The 90deg elbow ~$5
The RCA Cable ~$20USD (like nanotech pointed out this is personal preference $0.50 - $50)

The Radio Keys can be ordered with the Blitzsafe Adapter from Enfig, for about $12USD. I'd recommend getting some, or making a trip to the dealer to have them pull the radio for you.

Are you able to charge the ipod while listening in the car?

I had mine hooked up to an FM transmitter in my old jeep, changing the ipod got pretty dangerous, its so sensitive and tiny to look at, its probably even worse for those with ipod minis.

Default I have been too lazy...

To hook up the Power Pod in the current config. However while I had it setup temp sitting on the ashtray. I did use the power and listen to the iPod.

It is good to use the backlight (on 5 sec delay) in the car. So having it powered is a great benefit.

Default I'm jealous! . . . . (and poll inside)

I've been limping along with the cr@ppy cassette adapter while I wait for the new icelink. I may have to call them today since they have not yet confirmed shipment. was s'posed to ship monday.

icelink v1.1 is s'posed to permit h/u control of functions and provide power, i think. cant't say for sure until it is received and installed. . . .

on another note, i've just passed 2,000 songs transferred from cd. . . . in your opinions, how many is "enough"???
