Default Paging CadenceX ...

Did you run your car when it was stock (1/4 mile) ? If so, what was your time and your 60' ?

You ran 15.3 with a chip right ? What was your 60' and speed ?

Thanks

Nope, never ran it stock.

yeah 15.3 with a 2.1 60'
can't remember what my trap was, but wasn't that high. My better trap speed was with a 15.5 run...I was like high 80s or low 90s, i can't remember, I'll have to check the slips.

I want to try the GIAC or REVO at the track...I think I could get a higher trap.

goin to run soon again once i get my exhaust on, hopefully that will help up top.

I went to the track yesterday and

--------temp------r/t---------60'-------¼ mile------Speed
run 1 : --84F-----.738-------2.820------17.565------77.89
run 2 : --80F-----.522-------2.741------17.467------78.39
run 3 : --76F-----.551-------2.608------17.196------79.04
run 4 : --75F-----.585-------2.491------16.999------78.97
run 5 : --72F-----.485-------2.614------17.049------79.70

I know my 60' sucks but you know how hard is it to lunch with cvt, also, that was my first time ever in track.

The track at 5,860-foot elevation. Don't tell me that turbocharged cars are not effected, they do but not as much as NA cars.

I'll be practicing to manage better 60' times so I could get 16.8 or maybe less ...

Default you are stock though right? Your reaction times are great! How are you launching your car? power

braking? I usually rev up to around 3-5k. Experiment with flipping between tip and D. I was start in tip, go into 2nd and then instead of 3rd flip it into D. Try that and see what you think. I don't really know what's best...CVT is reallllllly weird. I haven't concluded on the best way to get quick times...it felt so inconsistent on my track day. Keep practicing and keep me updated!

PS I was also running on pretty heavy 18s. =(

Default Yes, my car is stock ..

I power break .. Once the first yellow light works, I floor it and take off with green light at about 3 - 3.5K rpms. I keep it in "D" cvt mode all the time. Before I went to the track, I used the g-tech pro and keeping it in "D" is about 1 second faster than tip in the ¼ mile ! I should try your way 1st - 2nd then "D" ...

I think if I could do ~2.2-- 60' I'll hit 16.6~16.8 depending on the weather.
