You can see that line as clear as day. It comes from the factory that way.

Your cluster is fine.

Default Huh?

Are you talking about the row of black right above the solid red horizontal line?

Nothing is supposed to be there. The top display showing "OK" shows yellow and red. The bottom only shows red. They are separate displays. Just checked, and mine has a gap also.

Default That's what I'm trying to tell Caster. He's freaking out because of the black line

there because he kept complaining about a "burnt in" image on his replacement cluster.

on my old B5, the top right of this display began losing pixels about a year and half after buying the car... dealer ended up replacing the whole console

I read the post. An output test would illuminate all the pixels and answer the question.

They aren't pixels anyway, so they won't be illuminated, that's the answer.

Default Have you looked at his pic poster?

His cluster is clearly messed up. He is not complaining about that line that is not supposed to be there.... sheesh. If you are going to call someone out, at least be right about it.

Default If you are going to try to correct me, atleast be correct.

He just had a refurbed cluster installed. Goodness are you people slow or what. I am strictly talking about the line and that's it because that's all he asked about.
