Paging Dr Mike
I got a price of $113 for the ferodo's front pads.
whats the word on dust and noise. no sensors, but who cares.
190 for all around; that's a big nut compared to Hawks and Bobcats. worth it?

I paid a lot more than that for the Bobcats...
That's a great deal. What was the price you got quoted on the bob cats? With regards to the Ferodos, they have been the absolute best pad I have run. NO noise. Excellent fade resistence. Awesome initial bite. The downside is that they will wear a bit quicker than a ceramic like the bobcat. They also dust moderately. The positives is that they are a much better street pad than the bobcat (they perform superbly when cold) and they offer just as much if not better track performance. Also the noise is non existant. cheers! Mike

LOL, not at all on both fronts...
I use the bobcats on the rear bc I never have to swap them out for track v. street, they last a long time, and they are nice to the rotors. No need for bood bite in the rear. I use the Ferodo in the front and the bobcats in rear. You can probably expect MUCH more than 15K miles out of the Ferodo under normally aggressive conditions. I'd suspect more like around 40K miles or more. Mine lasted about 20K miles of intense tracking and they were on a modified S4 before my car. cheers! Mike
