Default Painted Calipers on Lease?

Hey all, I"m considering painting my calipers on my leased car - Is this a bad idea and will I get nailed for it at trade-in? Also, what's the easiest way to do that, (that will last and look good)? G2 paint system?

Default You can do it, then take some paint thinner at the end of the lease, prob solved.

They probably won't care eiter.

Yep, no big. If you drive extremely hard, it'll melt off though, despite the temp ratings

Default Re: Painted Calipers on Lease?

I have now turned in 4 leased vehicles and each time, the inspector was an idiot. The inspector's were never brand specific either, so even on the remote chance they would notice the painted calipers, they would not know whether or not the A4 came with them stock or not.

I say go for it!
