Default Painted Lowers

I would like to have the lowers painted on my car but want to remove the trim before painting. Has anybody removed the trim ? How difficult is it ?

Thanks,

Ron

Default gryph.....Whats the reason for removing the...

trim? Is it necessary? When you say trim are u actually talking about the black portion on the bottom of the car?

If you mind me asking how much are you approximaley paying for everything since you are having the trim removed.

What color is your car and where are you located?

Thanks

How long will this job take?

Default I am in Toronto, Canada and the car is bril. black. $950 CDN (about 10K US this morning!!!!!)

I'm told the grey plastic pieces around the entire bottom of the car should be removed to avoid overspay on the vehicle and to bake the paint on in a "kiln" type oven. I am out of town and leaving the car for the week but I think it would be about a 2-3 day job otherwise. A large portion of the cost is the labour to remove and re-install the body work.

Default How is the trim attached to the body?

What is holding it against the car? Anyone know?
