Carry a brick to put under your tire.

It's freezing, and there's not really anything you can do.

Default make sure you pull it up and down a bunch of times before you drive to try and free it

during the winter, dont lock it in so hard either

Default Yes, as mentioned, water in cable. I use a 2' long, "1by1" to lever the brake arm back.....

thru the wheel opening. Make sure the ebrake is released before using the lever. There is supposedly a updated cable to fix this, I have not yet confirmed that though.

how do you do this? Where do you look to see if the Ebrake is engaged and how do you release it manually thru the wheel?

Default The end of the cable is attached to the actuating arm on the brake caliper.,,,,more

The cable pulls the actuating arm toward the front of the car to apply the ebrake. So, first having released the ebrake handle inside the car, you position the wooden stick through the wheel so that you can lever the actuating arm toward the back of the car. It will move about 1/2" or less, and you will be able to see it move back to the released position. It does not take much force to release the ebrake this way, so you won't need to heave-ho on the lever. For reference, compare the relative position of the ebrake arm on the other wheel.
