pda/gps installed
tried connecting an mp3 player and the pocketpc on a y connector but impedance doesn't match. i would have liked to have music and gps voice commands sent to my speakers at the same time. but as soon as i connect the pocketpc, the mp3 player is blocked. i could still perhaps pursue some solutions like devices for matching impedance but *this* looks enticing.

under the steering wheel...
you have to remove the cover underneath. i did not do it myself but i stayed through the installation to make sure its clean. i had an mp3 player and the pocketpc connected to the radio. but as i said, it did not go well.
in case i would find a solution, i had the 3.5mm stereo jack stay. anyway it's tucked neatly behind the cradle. you could see the tip of the jack at the left side of the 2nd picture. used velcro.

you can see the gps reciever just at the right of the pda...
it's a bluetooth gps receiver so no wires. no need for an external antenna.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/513596.phtml</a
