Is the Phatnoise kit on the Audi website the same as the Kenwood Music Keg?? (more)
I know they're the same principle but I mean EXACTLY the same? Can I purchase the Kenwood Music Key (around $150) buy the cable & mount from Audi and hook the whole thing up?? Also, is it just a laptop hard drive inside the Phatnoise/Music Keg cartridge or is it something entirely different (ie. can I pull it apart & put a larger hard drive insides with out paying the major cash for the larger cartridge? Thanks.

I have the Phat Box from Audi and I'm thinking about going the other way with it. I'm thinking about going with an Kenwood head unit and I was wondering if I would be able to use my exsisting Phat Box with that. I know that when you update the firmware with the phat box that you have to select which kind of radio you have so it might be possible to just get the Kenwood firmware and flash it but I don't know.
Anyone ever tried this?
