Part of the invoice. Audi charges 1% of invoice cost to cover newspaper, radio, TV and magazine ads.
In rural areas, this fee isn't charged, because population density isn't sufficient to target with advertising.

To order more expensive...
The higher price must be due to the fact that your car is made to order. They are usually nice with cars they want to move on the lot. When I bought mine there, I was told that $1500 under MSRP is what they were willing to do for a 3.0.
