PIAA 7500K or 8000K H7's anyone ??
Hi guys/gurls,
I have a B6 with stock halogen bulbs and no money for HID kit... so I thought about buying PIAA 7500K H7 bulbs for about $80 pair..
1 - Anyone have any pics that have installed them?
2 - Any thoughts? Good/Bad idea?
Thanks..

Pls. don't waste your money on PIAA bulbs.
They work fine (I've used several sets on both of my previous cars) but they tend to burn out every 5-12 months.
Save for the proper ecode housing and ballasts/bulbs.
Trust me, if you hang around here, you'll end up getting them anyway.

Sounds like you've had some bad luck with them. That's the one brand of bulb
I've seen the least problems with or heard complaints from customers. I've never personally owned a set that has lasted under 2-3 years, but then again I keep the fluid topped off quite frequently. : )

Nah, there's bound to be problems every once in a while with..
anything produced in that quantity. My experience with them (personally as well as business) luckily has been excellent compared to the others. If you still have any bad sets laying around, I might be able to help you with that.

You aren't going to get good light out of 7500K or 8000K
imho save up for an HID kit... they range from $200-$400 and it's better than buying an $80 bulb that isn't going to give you much light!
