Question,

In my armrest - I have this female input that appears to be for the audi phone.

Does anyone know what wire I can buy that will allow me to connect my V60i phone into this slot? Since my car has telematics - it is pre-wired for an Audi V60 phone but I want to see if the regular v60i phone will work.

Also -if anyone has any advice or suggestions on doing this - please let me know, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Audi Telematics, and I was told that you have to buy the Audi phone. Something about proprietary software. Just another way for you to spend an extra $1000!

A Motorola V60 will not work in the Audi telematics kit (specific software in the Audi V60). I made an adapter for the Motorola HF kit to use the antenna that comes stock in the cars with telematics. You can also interface the radio mute and send the audio through the stock radio.

I have installed the Motorola kit in my car without telematics and a friends 3.0 with telematics. E-mail if you want all the specifics, or there is a good write up a while ago by jmdp.

Hi, I just picked up my new A4 today. I bought the Motorola V60 Audi phone. It has Onstar ......telemactics. I can't figure out how the Motorola v60 phone works hand free. The phone sits in the Audi cradle no problem. Anyone have any advice on how this hands free phone system works? THANKS
