I was just about to order an A4 1.8T avant in Amulet red, then I found out the color is discontinued.

I am not super keen on the brilliant red (a bit too brilliant...) from the pics in the TT board.

I haven't been able to find pictures of crimson red though. And I'm not sure what German-named color this maps to on audi.de.

Does anyone have photos? Or know what the color is called in Germany?

Thanks for the tip.

They list brilliant red and "cherry red" but not crimson. There is also a "burgundy red" on other (non-A4) models.

Frustrating -- my local Canadian dealer is telling me they won't have brochures till August, and in the meantime they don't know what "crimson red" looks like either. It's as if they don't really want people to order that color...
