Please allow me to introduce myself...

I've posted a few times here, but it seems the proper thing to do is the "introduction post."
Here goes. My wife and I traded in her beloved 2000 Nissan Xterra for a 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro Sport with 5spd, Xenons, Bose, Premium, Sunroof and Bun Warmers. We were ready to buy a "grown-up" car as one friend put it. I was referred to Audi, and this board, by a friend with a 2000 A4 (he posts in the Gen 1 forum as Emugga).
Anyway, we're really loving the car, even though we only took delivery of it Saturday night. I don't have many mods planned, other than an APR chip when it's available.
For a little background, for anyone who's interested (and got time to waste), our other daily driver is a '97 Subaru Outback Sport, which is a great little car. Our "fun" car is a '97 Miata with too many mods to mention (latest: Konis, Racing beat springs and sways, 16" Team Locos and 205/40 rubber). Both of us ride, as well, her a 2001 Suzuki SV650, me a 2001 Suzuki SV650S (grey-marketed in from Canada, as they weren't available here at the time).
We've had many other cars and bikes, though this is the first German one, and the first one that approaches "luxury." I'm starting to think it feels good to be grown up![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
We live in the Denver (CO) area, and are both empolyed in the IT arena. We're both originally from Louisiana, and don't miss the humidity at all.
If anyone's up for a REAL waste of time, try cruising my hopelessly out of date web site at www.xcursions.net.
Regards,
Dave

...after a car show in Glenwood Springs, CO, where we took 1st place, Japanese cars. Ok, I admit, it was a pretty small field, as the show was affiliated with an MG Car Club Rally, and all that was invited were other British Car Clubs and Miata Clubs. Anyway...

Black 2001 SVS... great bike ! and my A4 is on the way. Feb-Mar delivery. I must say you have great taste in vehicles. Ha Ha ! I live in Toronto and normally it's about freezing at this time of year but we've been lucky so far and I had my bike out for a spin yesterday ( a little nippy so I had to dress warm and watch out for lowsides on those corners ) and tomorrow they say it's gonna be 14 degrees celsius. So far it's the only thing keeping me sane until I get my A4. I'm getting a Dolphin Grey, 1.8tq, xenon, roof, 16" wheels...
