Default Please Help! Any tips on how to remove the exhaust tips?

I wanted to black out my exhaust tips tomorrow afternoon so I set up the paint booth, oven, paint gun, etc... but I might have to cancel the plan because I can't get the friggin' tips off! I unscrewed the clamp but the tip is so stuck that I can't for the life of me get it off. Any hints or tricks guys? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if it's safe for this application [very flamable] but I've used XO Rust in the past.

Default I managed to push it out about 1/4" by tapping the edge with a chisel and hammer...

I just don't want to waste 2hrs getting the damn tips off!

Mmm, not sure. This stuff is like a paint primer that removes rust.

Default There's gotta be a way to break down the rust enough to get em off. Maybe some...

Ultra-One or something w/Phosphoric acid? Maybe check into Lawn / Garden stuff as well. Just throwin out ideas... cause this would drive me NUTS as well.
