Please help: Snub Mount
I am in the middle of installing the snub mount, i have the bracket off, and the snub mount slides on easily...but I am having trouble pushing the snub mount far enough into the joint in order to re-screw the three bolts on the bracket. Does this require a bunch of strength, or is something wrong?? I have no mode of transportation right now until I get it on...please help!!

Try loosening the bolts to the cup the snub mount is centered in. You should then have...
enough slack to tighten the bolts for the snub arm. From there, you can align the cup and re-tighten. If you have time, let the engine idle before you re-tighten the cup bolts to allow for a proper fit. Make sure the snub is all the way on as well.

I fixed my problem...The snub mount install is simple, but they don't tell you to push the bracket arm all the way through the snub. I was just pushing the arm to the notch, not through the notch. Once the s.m. was all the way on, the rest was smooth runnings.
BTW...Audi service is god-aweful...I pulled my belly pan out for the first time since my coolant/oil pump leak...and there was near an inch of caked oil and mess from what they had just fixed. It took them two full days to figure out that I had a bad oil pump.

Yeah, that's one of two issues some users have when installing a snub mount.
Either the snub isn't really all the way on, or they have fittment or vibration issues from not loosening and then centering the cup. Good to hear you got it squared away.
