POLL: Mobile One 0W-40 Euro Synthetic change at 5k interval or wait till 10k interval
At my last oil change at 10k I had them put in Ow-40 euro spec synethetic. At my next scheduled oil change I plan on either putting in Amsoil or Red Line. Do you think at the 5k interval I should drain and put in four fresh quarts of 0w-40 m1 euro synthetic?

I let the dealer put whatever they put in at 5K. I will starting doing 0W-40 at 10K
10K myself with 0W-40 Synth
15K dealer with 0W-40 Synth
....so on

Funny... my dealer says to wait at least till you got 10K???
Pretty much most of the advice you get some service departments is worthless.
I'm going to wait till past 10K, but not because they say so. Mainly because I was too lazy to bring my oil in for 5K, and I didn't feel like arguing with them about putting in Synth too early.

If you change every 5k - Redline is really not worth the extra money - I used it for years.......
prior to switching to Mobil 1 and while it's an excellent oil - I found no appreciable differences.
