Poll: Yes or no - MTM wheel spacers with stock sport suspension?

I've conducted some additional searches using Google to try and source out some solid negatives to using 10mm and/or 15mm spacers... but once again, I haven't uncovered any solid evidence that these products should be avoided at all costs.
From what I have read, any problems resulting from the use of spacers seem to occur in cases where aftermarket wheels are combined with poorly quality spacers, i.e.) the combination of unsuitable wheels with cheap spacers results in undesirable feedback in the form of wheel vibrations/shimming and/or increased wear on suspension parts due to excessive load increases, etc.
As I see it, any problems that have occurred i.e.) the classic tale of "somebody's" wheel snapping off on account of spacers, has only occurred in circumstances where the owners of these vehicles were arguably negligent with their choice of suspension parts, wheels and installation.
In contrast, MTM spacers are quite likely some of the most expensive spacer products on the market and are designed to be used with original OEM Audi rims only, using longer bolts to secure them to the hubs. This combination of quality partnered with vehicle specific design seems to suggest that the risks are low. Furthermore, add to this the fact that my car is unlikely to spend any time on a track, nor at any time will it be driven by an idiot with a preference for rally style road maneuvers, and I see no reason why I shouldn't install these spacers ASAP.

From what I can tell, the only spacers available for the A4 from H&R are 8mm and 15mm units. Also worth pointing out is that H&R spacers under 15mm do not appear to included the protuding center rim that effectively makes the spacer "hubcentric. It is for this reason, and this reason alone, that I am opting to go with the MTM spacers as both their 10mm and 15mm units include the center rim.
Note: I've done the measurements - using the stock rims on the sport suspension, the gap between the face of the tire and the edge of the fender is approximately 10mm (front) and 15mm (rear), therefore the 10mm / 15mm set up is perfect.

TRAK+ wheel spacers fit tightly over the wheel hub, hence providing optimum support and superior function. H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers are made of aluminum / magnesium alloy and are hard anodized. These wheel spacers are hub-centric and up to 70% lighter than typical steel wheel spacers, yet just as strong
We offer wheel spacers in 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm-with a centering hub.
8, 10, and 12 have centering hub or only 12?

The info you have obtained form your research sounds solid. I would feel comfortable using them as you have described. And the center protruding lip for making it "hub-centric" obviously helps.
I can understand why some set ups would warrant caution; non hub-centric wheels with centering rings on spacers. That is creating a lot of changing contact areas, stress points and spinning mass differences compared to just hub-centric wheels on the hub.

... but some of that info is over my head! Again, I think the wording there suggests that the centering hubs aren't available for the 8mm and 10mm spacers. Centering hubs are included at 12mm plus. That's my take.
