Hi Everyone,
Just the other day, I was turning left through an intersection from a dead stop. I accelerated as normal but when I noticed a car coming around a blind corner, I accelerated harder. But the car didn't pick up. It didn't stall or slow down, just didn't pick up. Then just shortly afterwards, I noticed the same exact symptom as I went up a small incline. I've always been able to press down a little more on the gas pedal to pull up the hill. Again, no pull. I also noticed the dash lights dim then return to normal brightness in a matter of a split second. Pulled over, shut the car down, restarted and everythings been normal since.
I know it's hard to diagnose without looking at the car but anybody with suggestions as what to consider? Is the 2003 A4 connected to the gas pedal via linkage or fly-by-wire?
Thanx in advance to the gear-heads out there!!!

and the throttle valve % opening amount measuring blocks with VAG-COM at the same time. Graphing those logs with VAG-Scope, will reveal any failure of the throttle to respond to the pedal. Another measuring block to log is requested torque Vs developed torque.
