Is it possible to disable the throttle cut when left foot braking? If so how?

In my car, the throttle cuts off after approx 2 seconds of brake application. I've STFA without much success.

I don't remember enough to get too technical, but basically, the engine management electronics work based on the last signal sent, which in this case, is from the brake light switch.
So, try briefly lifting and reapplying the throttle. Then, the last signal will be from the accelerator.
Can anyone verify I read this correctly? Or, is this already common knowledge, and you're just looking to permanently remove the throttle cut, instead of working around it?

And as you say if I'm on the gas and then I apply brake with a quick lift and back on the throttle, it wont cut off. That's kindof a pain and not very smooth. More often than not, the 2 second delay before the throttle is cut is long enough. If it did cut in the middle of a high speed corner you might be in for a wild ride.
I was hoping that it could be disabled with a simple tweek on a VAG COM tool.
