Default (post #1001) On the way home from the sh!tty UofM game, I snapped some pix of my new wheels

For me, going from 17s to 18s is gonna take some gettin' use to. 36psi all the way around provides a pretty firm ride coupled with the fact that it was chilly today..... man, the ride quality was bone jarring compared to what I'm use to. I got a great deal on these bfg g-force sport tires. 235/40/18 for $75ea, I decided to give'm a shot. Pretty good bang for the buck with a WR speed rating in addition to good treadwear rating

Default Car looks great! May I suggest that 36psi is quite low though?

I run 42psi on mine; IIRC on the sticker for 3.0 Ultrapsorts it says the recommended pressure is 42-46psi.

How are those T1-R's? Sweet looking tire, lightweight to boot

Default They're fantastic! Much better than the SP9090 and FK-451 I had before...

They just grip! Now that fall is here and it's starting to rain, I'm even more impressed: I'm used to tires that give up a lot sooner when the roads get wet; not these: the T1R's almost grip in the wet as well as the old SP9090's (~30k miles old, still not down to the wear bars though) in the dry!
