Over the past week or so my car has had a significant power loss. It seems like it takes forever to get to highway speeds, and any rpms where there should be boost, there isn't any.

It feels like the engine is working really hard. I drive pretty spiritedly, well until this has started, maybe that has had something to do with it? The car has been working fine up until recently.

I have one code showing, P0411, it has something to do with the secondary air injection system, but I've been told that shouldn't have any effect apart from the startup of the car.

I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to what could be wrong before I bring it into a shop.

Mileage and year would be helpful.
Lots of stuff could be bad.
Could be boost leak, could be failed diverter valve could be big vacuum leaks
Those are the simplest.

First thing would be to check all boost and vacuum hoses.
check boost pressures.
