Power steering Fluid
Does anyboy have the specification of the fluid used in the latest generation A4 power steering. Audi in the Uk are a little shy of telling me. They can sell me the fluid but only under their own part number and it's expensive! I'm sure it's just a hydraulic fluid but which one?

I ran into the same thing...
Found that my fluid level was low. Check the manual for specs on the fluid - couldn't find any mention of the fluid itself. The cap on the reservoir only states that it should be mineral based - nothing else. So I took it to the dealer and had them top it off. Still waiting to hear from them if they found any leaks at all. I would be concerned that if there are no leaks that it was shipped from the factory that way and Clair in Boston didn't check the level during PDI.
