cr@p! Windshield cracked last nite after a bonehead move on my part. FYI be sure to make sure your windshield wipers are down against the glass BEFORE you open the hood ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Anyway, it is well known that the OEM glass is pretty lousy. Has anyone had experience with the PPG replacement? Or the Safelite replacement?
for reference, installed prices:
OEM glass $576.oo (dealer)
PPG glass $482.00
Safelite glass $390.00

Got the price down a little, but keep in mind the glass needs to be shipped out here...one of the costs of living in Hawaii, everything costs just a bit more.
